Sekolah Pemikiran Bung Hatta (SPBH) 2025

The Center for International Law Studies (Lembaga Pengkajian Hukum Internasional) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia (FHUI), in collaboration with the Institute for Research, Education and Information Economy and Social (LP3ES) and the Hatta Foundation (Yayasan Hatta), has successfully hold the second batch of the Bung Hatta School of Thought (SPBH) with theme “Kemerdekaan dan Demokrasi” (Independence and Democracy), in a hybrid format on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at FHUI campus in Depok. The event explores Bung Hatta’s thoughts as detailed in Karya Lengkap Bung Hatta (KLBH) Buku 2: Kemerdekaan dan Demokrasi. The goal is to re-examine and disseminate the Founding Fathers’ ideas on democracy, humanity, and nation-building to a wider audience, particularly the younger generation. Distinguished speakers invited include Prof. Arie Afriansyah, Ph.D., former Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Hassan Wirajuda, and philosopher Prof. Karlina Supelli. The discussions were moderated by Chandra M. Hamzah and Iwan Maryono.
