Hadi Rahmat Purnama is a faculty member in International Law at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, where he has been teaching since 2003. He holds an LL.B. from Universitas Indonesia and an LL.M. from Washington College of Law, American University, and is currently an external Ph.D. researcher in Transnational Legal Studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His academic and professional expertise covers international law, international trade and investment law, human rights, and international humanitarian law, supported by extensive teaching experience, international training, and policy advisory work with Indonesian ministries and international organizations. He is actively involved in regional and international human rights networks and currently serves as Executive Chair of the Human Rights Center and Head of the Center for International Law Studies at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia.
