The Center for International Law Studies (CILS)/Lembaga Pengkajian Hukum Internasional (LPHI), is a premier independent research institution based at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia established in 2002. Established to advance the study, teaching, and discourse on international law and transnational legal issues, CILS/LPHI serves as a dynamic hub for rigorous academic research and policy–oriented analysis. The center adopts an interdisciplinary approach that bridges legal theory and practical application, with a pronounced commitment to perspectives from the Global South and Southeast Asia.
